Thank you so much for donating items to us. You’re making a real difference to people who need a bit of extra help in our community. Below is a list of the items we need. Please try and make sure products are still in date and unopened. Sanitary products and domestic cleaning products are very much appreciated. Donations of the items listed below are always welcome.

At the beginning of the week the Haslemere Food Bank put out a plea asking for donations so that we could give every child whose family attended our gift drive a £10 book token. The response was phenomenal – within just 48 hours people had donated over £1500 of book tokens so that we could make this possible. Children are already redeeming them in store. Thank you for giving the gift of reading to so many. ❤️

Today the Haslemere Food Bank held their annual Christmas food and gift event. We distributed festive food packs to 168 local families and gave out gifts for around 350 children. On top of that we distributed 273 book tokens ensuring each child can choose their very own book at the The Haslemere Bookshop not to mention the hundreds of vouchers for a cuppa on the house at either Hemingways of Haslemere or Oliver's
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of the #haslemerecommunity, both its residents, schools, churches and its local businesses.
